BIOGRAPHY

Abderrezak RACHEDI (S'05, M'08, SM'15) is currently working as full professor (Professeur des Universités) at the University Gustave Eiffel (UGE) since Sep. 2018. He was associate professor (maître de confèrences) between 2009 and 2018 at University Paris-Est Marne-la-VallÃe (UPEM). He is a member of the Gaspard Monge Computer Science laboratory (LIGM CNRS UMR 8049) since september 2008. He received his Habilitation to Direct Researsh (HDR: habilitation à diriger des recherches) from Paris-Est University in Dec. 2015, and his PhD degree in computer science from the university of Avignon in France. He received his research MS degree in computer science from the University of Savoie in France in 2003, and his engineer degree in computer science from the university of technology and science Houari Boumedienne -USTHB- (Algiers, Algeria) in 2002.

His research interests lie in the field of data transportation (data collection and data disseminsation) in IoT networks and wireless networking : wireless multi-hop networks, wireless sensor networks (WSNs), Vehicular ad hoc networks (VANETs), Machine-Type Communication (LTE-A) ; resources management with quality of services and security concerns ; distributed algorithms ; Trust models design, Network performance analysis and evaluation.

Dr. Rachedi advised multiple Ph.D. and Master's students at Paris-Est University. So far, his research efforts have culminated in more than hundred refereed journal, conference and book publications in a wide variety of prestigious international conferences and journals including the IEEE Transactions on Vehicular Technology (IEEE TVT), Elsevier Ad hoc networks, IEEE ICC, and IEEE GLOBECOM. He participated or still participates to several national and international research projects.

He is currently serving on the editorial board for IEEE ACCESS journal, John Wiley's Security & Privacy, Wireless Communications and Mobile Computing Journal, John Wiley's International Journal of Communication Systems. He is a senior member of the IEEE and has served as Technical Program Committee member and reviewer of many international conferences and journals.
