I am Maître de Conférences (Associate Professor) with Habilitation à Diriger des Recherches (HDR) (Habilitation to Manage Research) at Université Gustave Eiffel (former name: Université Paris-Est Marne-la-Vallée), and researcher of Laboratoire d'Informatique Gaspard Monge (IMAGINE Group - A3SI Team - LIGM Lab) of Université Paris-Est, which is a joint lab (UMR 8049 CNRS) founded by Université Gustave Eiffel, CNRS, and École des Ponts ParisTech, France.


My research mainly lies in Computer Vision and related fields. Previous works are mainly on graphical modeling and deep modeling for diverse scene understanding problems (Google Scholar Page), and have won some awards (including those shown in Publications). I have been elected as IEEE Senior Member since 2020, and have received Habilitation à Diriger des Recherches (HDR) (Habilitation to Manage Research) in 2021. I have served as Area Chair for a few major conferences of computer vision field: CVPR'2022, CVPR'2023, ECCV'2022, BMVC'2021, BMVC'2022.


I received my PhD degree at École Centrale Paris (Currrent Name: CentraleSupélec), France, under the supervision of Prof. Nikos Paragios. After that, I was postdoctoral researcher, working with Prof. Stefano Soatto at University of California, Los Angeles, USA, and then with Prof. Michael J. Black at Max Planck Institute for Intelligent Systems, Germany.
