Welcome to my webpage. I’m currently a PhD Candidate at the IGM, University Paris-Est Marne-la-Vallée (MLV) in FRANCE.
My PhD started on September 1st 2011. My research focuses on the computer sciences applied to radiation therapy.
- The core of my work is the development of MSPT (Motion Simulator for Proton Therapy), an open-source software, simulating the delivery of a proton-therapy treatment, using the spot-scanning technique. It aims at highlighting the impact of the patient motion during a treatment delivery by computing dose on the moving patient. The main interest of this simulator lies in the ability to render the impact of a predicted patient motion on a prescribed treatment plan. This capability makes it an innovative research tool to evaluate and compare different methods of motion management or mitigation. ( Note: an article describing MSPT has been submitted and is being reviewed).
- A secondary part focuses on the study of the minimization of the beam-on time and the setup-up time for dual-layers Multileaf Collimators (MLC) and rotating MLCs in radiotherapy(see article).
My advisors:
- Guillaume Blin, PhD, Associate Professor at the IGM, University Paris-Est MLV, France.
- Stéphane Vialette, PhD CNRS Researcher (CR1), Université Paris-Est MLV, France.
- Xiaodong WU, PhD, Associate Professor at the University of Iowa, USA.
