FUNCTION: ODimRep - calculate the dimension of an irreducible representation of the orthogonal group

CALLING SEQUENCE:

ODimRep(rk, lambda)

CG[ODimRep](rk, lambda)

PARAMETERS:

rk = the rank of O

lambda = any list denoting a partition

SYNOPSIS:

• The ODimRep function calculates the dimension of the irreducible representation of the orthogonal group, with highest weight represented by a partition lambda.

• Whenever there is a conflict between the function name ODimRep and another name used in the same session, use the long form CG['ODimRep'].

EXAMPLES:

> ODimRep(6, [4,2,2]);
