Zéphyr Salvy

I am currently a post-doctoral researcher at TU Wien under the supervision of Michael Drmota.

I did my PhD at Université Gustave Eiffel under the supervision of Marie Albenque and Éric Fusy between 2021 and 2024. Here are my manuscript and my defence slides.

I am interested in random planar maps using tools from different branches of combinatorics: analytic combinatorics, enumerative combinatorics, bijective combinatorics, as well as probability. I also like algorithms and I have coded a random map generator according to a Boltzmann law described in the paper "A phase transition in block-weighted random maps" written in collaboration with William Fleurat (check the paper to see the cool pictures!).

Don't hesitate to come and talk to me about these subjects (or anything else), by email or in person.
