Il est important de spécifier ce chemin pour que le binaire htsearch soit dans le répertoire cgi-bin d'Apache. Sinon, ça ne marche pas.

Le chemin par défaut /opt/www/htdocs/htdig ne marche pas car je ne suis pas root et je n'ai pas le droit d'y écrire. J'ai donc défini un chemin sur mon compte.
