North Korea said it agreed to a SouthKorean proposal for talks between the prime ministers of the
two countries, and proposed a preparatory meeting on April 23.
    The state-run North Korean Central News Agency, monitored
here, said Pyongyang signalled its agreement in a letter sent
by North Korean prime minister Li Gun-Mo to his southern
counterpart Lho Shin-Yong.
    Lho proposed that the two prime ministers meet for talks in
a letter on March 17.
